After careful consideration by the SACPCMP Council on recommendation emanating from the Building Inspectors Task Team, the scheduled date for the opening of registrations for Building Inspectors has now been moved to open on 01 December 2019.

As part of a consultative process to obtain buy-in and share information on the background and routes to registration for Building Inspectors there are on-going roadshows which will end on the 15th of October 2019. During these road shows it has become evident that for the comments made by participants to be properly considered and where relevant refinements made to the Scope of Services, the Task Team would require time past the previously scheduled 01 October 2019 target date.

Council have thus approved an extension to open registration from 01 October 2019 to 01 December 2019. The Council wishes to thank all stakeholders for their positive contributions in ensuring the Scope of Services provides for a fair, transparent and equitable registration process.

The SACPCMP will ensure stakeholders are kept informed on any further developments.
